Before and After School Care
Early Risers
The Early Risers Club runs from 7:45am until 8:30am daily before school and offers pupils the chance to catch up on homework, complete reading quizzes, take part in a craft activity or play games. A member of staff is always on hand for any queries each morning and a First Aider is always in attendance. We do not provide food so children will need to have eaten prior to arrival.
From September 2024, the cost of the club is £3.50 per session
To book a session, please visit Schoolgateway then the Clubs section. Select the days you would like your child to attend and add it to your basket and proceed to checkout.

After School Care
We have two providers who offer after school care for children from Turnfurlong Junior School
Fireflies
Fireflies runs from 3.15pm to 5.45pm. We offer a nurturing and safe space where children can enjoy taking part in outdoor play, creative activities, games or relaxing with a book. We offer various options for parents including the ability to book ad hoc sessions (when available). Fireflies will be based in the Junior hall or the library

Children attending Fireflies after 4.30pm, will be provided with a light snack eg sandwich, toast, pancakes, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, cereal bars and biscuits. The food provided is intended to keep the children going until their main meal at home with you.

Once registered you will need to book your space by clicking here.
Invoice will be generated after receiving your booking requirements and will appear on the Arbor app for payment.
Payments
Fireflies invoices will be available for payment on your Arbor app. These can be paid directly or via childcare vouchers which work in a slightly different way. Once you have used your vouchers to make a payment to the school, please email the school with your remittance/copy of the transaction. Once the funds have cleared into our account, the credit will be added to your child's Arbor app balance for you to use. You can then book your sessions as usual through the Clubs section and the total will be taken from your balance.
Early risers can be booked and paid for on the Arbor app as no invoice is required.
